I don't know if you tried this yet. Just download the installer and install that, do not install the patch or any of the plugins listed there, you don't need them. Remove any installation of Mush-z from your system before you try that. Sorry if you tried that already, I didn't read every email in this discussion.
Oriol, who created the Mush-Z package, should be on this list, so hopefully he'll notice this discussion and help you out if he reads it.
