Soulsteal only works if you're targetting the mob, and you get
the mortally wounded string. This is made this way to avoid
killstealing.

for speaking the text, check in the plugins if mushreader is
installed. It
is needed to speak incoming text.
And now that you mention it, the automatic soulsteal doesn't work
for me at
all, I already wondered if I did something wrong there. I know
that I have
to have dread portent cast for it to work, but I have cast it all
the time
and it doesn't work nonetheless.
I can't say anything about potion brewing, since I don't have the
skill yet.
