Hi Daniel etc all, Could anyone like to give any comments on my question:
What's the significant difference between FAM and Gamin? From the website I can see Gamin do some optimization on FAM, I am thinking why we not putback these fix to FAM, instead of developing a new Gamin? We have a new kernel support, File Events Notification API, ready at Solaris, seems we can do the port, and is there any other pre-requisites to make Gamin run at other OS? Can Gamin support thin-client environment? e.g. SunRay.
