Hi! I cannot reproduce this. Maybe it was solved with the introduction of
--enabled-disk-templates instead of --no-lvm-storage already?
I tried this:
gnt-cluster init -s [...] --master-netdev=eth0 --nic-parameters [...]
--file-storage-dir=/srv/ganeti/file-storage/ --enabled-disk-templates=file
[clustername]
gnt-instance add -o debian-image -t file --disk 0:size=1G
--file-storage-dir=/srv/ganeti/file-storage/ --iallocator hail
[instancename]
Can you please recheck and if it still persists post the commandlines you
used?
