It does answer the question but shouldn't the monitor-docs files include
some details of what the various options do/mean/syntax of stuff that
can go in that file?
I did have the monitor-core available also but it may not have been in the
"proper" location for the monitor-docs stuff to find the gmond/gmond.conf
file when I built the stuff in monitor-docs.
