I guess this message is directed to Matt Massie since he appears to be the driving force behind the new 2.6.0 features. I've been reading through Matt's previous emails describing the features in 2.6.0 and I'm pleased. The most important change for me is the ability to specify unicast channels. I'm currently monitoring 73 hosts in a subnet and the number of multicast packets flying around has raised concerns regarding scalability.
The ability to define the rrd file parameters is very cool too..... Anyone been using either of these features in anger? I'd like to get an idea of when 2.6.0 will be officially released. ---- Yemi
