Turns out the scripts are already included in the source tarball (Martin 
modified the Makefile) so it should just be a matter of tweaking the spec file 
(which I'm in the process of doing).  Once my questions are answered I can go 
ahead and test what I have on Red Hat and SuSE systems and then check my 
modifications in.
