How about just build against distro-provided libconfuse if it exists, use included version if it doesn't? More or less what Marcus said: "i can tell you that there should be at least an option to say --with-$lib=/usr so it will use the system wide copy." -- Jarod Wilson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
