I've recently installed gmond/gmetad and the web front-end on a cluster at
work, and a machine at home. I'm having similar problems - and success
with both sites. I've worked through the debugging notes that have been
posted here a number of times. Telnet localhost 8651 (and 8649) seems to
give the right responses. I have rrd files. The path to the rrds has been
corrected in conf.php, and I modified the path to rrdtool in
graph.php. I've loaded what I believe are the newest php, mod_php and gif
generating modules. I get the (correct) load data on the web page, but
still no graphs. The web server error log contains the following:
