4j harrop- the format of the round-robin databases in 2.5.0 are different than pre-2.5.0 versions. in the old databases the DS name was "ganglia".. now it is "sum" and "num" (there are two).
you need to remove all the files in /var/log/ganglia/rrds and restart gmetad to recreate the rrdb's with the right format. if it's important to convert the data from the old format to the new .. let me know. it's not easy.. but it is possible. also, make sure you are running the 2.5.0 version of the webfrontend php scripts. the old graph.php file will not know how to handle the new rrdb format. good luck.. i hope this answers your question. let me know if you are still having problems. -matt Oct 22, 4j harrop wrote forth saying... > I've recently installed gmond/gmetad and the web front-end on a cluster at > work, and a machine at home.
