Tirumal, You are correct...you need to have these clusters use different multicast channels. In your /etc/gmond.conf, just define "mcast_channel" to a new IP (I usually just increment it one from the default, but whatever works for you). Also make sure the "name" definition at the top of the file is unique for your two clusters. I've got several subnets split into two clusters this way, and it's working great for me.
