Hi,

I'm trying to setup ganglia on a cluster that consists of a server which is connected to two seperate sets of nodes via two ethernet cards. Our idea is to run two gmonds on the server multicasting on two different ports. And to have one gmetad on the server polling the two gmonds. Is this how ganglia is meant to be used?

Maybe not the right place here: How do I start the two gmonds on the server, i.e. configure the gmond start|stop script in /etc/init.d on SuSE Linux? When trying to start the second gmond with startproc, startproc recognizes the binary and doesn't start a second process. Is there a clean solution?

Many thanks,
Thomas
