hi,

I have the same problem. I checked my '/var/lib/ganglia' and it's world
readable. But surprisingly there is no directory (i.e. the rrd files
generated by gmetad I suppose) that represents my present data source.

Another problem is, as soon as I restart my gmetad, I get an error on
the browser:

"Ganglia cannot find a data source. Is gmond running?"

but I've got both 'gmetad' & 'gmond' running. Any idea why?

Thanks,
Santanu
