That worked perfectly.  I didn't realize there was already a feature built in

The ganglia webfrontend does automatically refresh itself via the meta
refresh html tag.  By default the refresh interval is set to 300
seconds, but this can be modified by editing the conf.php file and
changing the $default_refresh variable.
