Hello,

I've encountered a problem with trying to use gmond alternative
interface than eth0 on a machine running a 2.6.8.1 linux kernel. Upon
startup gmond segfaults, and doing some gdbing seems to indicate it dies
when g_mast_in calls g_inetaddr_new, just after the debug text "Using
multicast-enabled interface eth1".

This doesn't seem to happen with multi-interface 2.4 kernel based
machines.
