Hi all,

We have a client with Ganglia installed, saving reports to a tempfs partition. The client wishes to keep the output after a reboot so that they may be able to assess the cause of a crash. Currently we have a cron job that copies the RRD files onto disk every five minutes and restores the files on bootup, however Ganglia Webfrontend ignores any changes made to the tempfs directory. Is there a way to have the previous Ganglia data restored and viewable in Webfrontend, or would it be easiest and most effective to save directly to hard disk rather than to tempfs? Are there any disadvantages to this?

Thanks for any help,
