I've seen this problem in one of my ganglia clusters, but I am doing
something probably a bit non-standard. I have two subnets that I
aggregate into one cluster. In the gmond.conf on the subnets, I use the
same cluster ID; on the gmetad.conf on the collector, I give it two
separate data sources with different names. It does aggregate the
statistics properly, but the summary info has the same jitter.
If anyone knows a proper way to aggregate two disparate subnets into one
cluster without this issue, drop me a line..
