I'm having environment where multicast is not enabled. I'm trying to configure
ganglia release 3.0.1 in RHEL 3.0WS environment.
I've started with only two hosts but in the browser I'm able to see only one
alive host. The other host is always down.
I've used rpm to install ganglia and following are the jist of config files:
On master_host:
gmond.conf: cluster {
name = "MY Cluster"
}
gmend.conf: data_source "MY Cluster" master_host other_host
On other_host
gmond.conf: cluster {
name = "MY Cluster"
}
udp_send_channel {
host = master_host
port = 8649
}
All other entries in the configuration file have not been touched.
Please help resolving the issue. Thanks in advance.
