Hi!

Am I getting this value_threshold setting thing quite right, if I
assume there's no real way to see if a threshold is passed?

The gmond.conf manual tells me the values are sent out more often
if the threshold change percentage is surpassed, otherwise more
seldom, in the default configuration.

With a multitude of hosts which require different settings, and
a collector that unicastedly collects data on a steady basis no
matter what, is there a way for me to see if the threshold is
exceeded?

I should probably be able to check differences in collection times?
It just seems the XML doesn't export that information?

I think I remember reading about getTn and getTmax as having something
to do with this but I'm not sure where, can anyone back me up on this?

Anyway, wouldn't it be the most convenient to just add the threshold
value in some output so I can calculate if the threshold is passed?

Thanks!
