Has anyone had any experience in configuring ganglia with the shorewall
firewall?
Ganglia is successfully multicasting to other hosts on the same network,
yet the XML tree is not returned to localhost. When my shorewall
firewall is switched off, it all works brilliantly.
My rules for ganglia currently look like:
ACCEPT net $FW tcp 8657
ACCEPT net $FW tcp 8649
ACCEPT loc $FW tcp 8657
ACCEPT loc $FW tcp 8649
and hosts:
#ZONE HOST(S) OPTIONS
loc eth0:192.168.0.0/24
loc eth0:239.2.11.71
Though I'm completely guessing thats what they should be.
Any help would be great.
