That's right. Also your gmond for the nodes does not need to configure a
receive udp channel:
udp_recv_channel {
port = 8649
}
You can take that out, since your nodes supposedly only send metrics to
alibaba-nfs.
In additional I would change the gmetad.conf file. I believe what you
are trying to model is having a cluster behind alibaba-nfs, which
aggregates cluster metrics. Then you want alibaba-nfs to send those
aggregated stats to the gmetad. If that is the case then you data
source in gmetad can be simplified:
data_source "Alibaba" \
alibaba-nfs casim-nfs mardschana-nfs mustafa-nfs sesam-nfs
I am assuming that casim-nfs et al. also follow the cluster model.
