What distro are you using?

I would recommended building rrdtool/ganglia from sources and use rpm for the smaller stuff most of the 3rd party libraries can be found on your Base Image CD in my case I’m using CentOS 5.1 and was able to get Ganglia up on running in a few minutes.

Subject: [Ganglia-general] Anyone know where I can get a decent download ofGanglia?

I've heard great things about this tool, but the install is a wreck!

Does anyone know were I can get a package that includes all the prereq's and
everything needed to get this thing running???

Hi,

As Rodrick wrote, I always install Ganglia from source (rrdtool is a already available RPM in my SuSE systems). Do you have a specific question that you need for installing from source?
