I don't have any strong preference either way. But my $0.02 is that if this is serious enough a bug, we should've heard it a lot more often than we have. I think we should steamroll with the current 3.1.1 which fixes a showstopper bug and punt this for 3.1.2. Again, treat this as my +0, I'll just follow whatever the consensus is.
