I haven't had the time to play around with the 3.1 version, but for the 3.0
version I can recommend the following site for a POWER5/6 aware Ganglia

Onderwerp: [Ganglia-general] Ganglia support in AIX

Hi All,

We have been using Ganglia to monitor our cluster on Linux and now we are
planning to use Ganglia to monitor our AIX clusters. I have visited the Ganglia
website and found no rpms for AIX (version 3.1.1). I am just interested to know
if Ganglia is supported in AIX and whether you are planning to build rpms for
AIX?
Please get back to me regarding the same.

Thanks and Regards
