Hi,

I've been using Ganglia (and Nagios) to monitor deployments for a
couple years now but my latest deployment is not working like past
ones. So, if I open up the web frontend on any of my previous
deployments such as one on 3.0.6, I can click on a host and click on
any of its graphs and it displays that graph with a URL like:

http://somehost/ganglia/graph.php?g=load_report&z=large&c=somecluster&h=someotherhost&m=&r=hour&s=descending&hc=4&st=1241540591

If I change the start time variable by doing something like:

http://somehost/ganglia/graph.php?g=load_report&z=large&c=somecluster&h=someotherhost&m=&r=hour&s=descending&hc=4&st=1241500591

It will display older data starting at the time stamp I've supplied.

When I do that on my latest 3.1.1 deployment (the only instance of
3.1.1 I have running), it always displays the latest data regardless
of what I change st to.

All of these deployments are on RHEL/CentOS 5. This one has been
collecting data for a couple months so it should be able to go back a
few hours. RRD collection configuration should be package/compile
defaults.

Any idea what might cause something like this? I haven't looked at the
source yet but I'd assume it might default to displaying the latest
data if you entered an invalid start time or one that represented a
time before any data was collected or some such but I'm not doing
that. I don't have a lot of other ideas at the moment.

Thanks, Rich(ard)
