Hi,
first you must clearify how many datapoints you want to see in a 13
month range.
it make no sense to store all datapoints (ganglia generate every 15sec
one datapoint).
maybe just every hour ?
60 (sek) * 60 (min) / 15 = 240
so RRD will aggregate 240 datapoints into one
now you can calculate your 13 mounth within a one hour range ...
365 (1 year) + 31 (1 month) * 24 = 9504 hours
RRAs "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:9504:240"
