i recognize a mistake (transposed digits)
RRAs "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:240:9504" instead of RRAs "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:9504:240"
you have to delete your old rrd-files and ganglia will create the new
one with your new definitions.
if you need the current data, save the old files and do a rrdtool
export/import.
start a "rrdtool dump" on one of the new files and have a look for the
following lines:
<rra>
...
...
<pdp_per_row> 240 </pdp_per_row>
...
...
<database>
the next line should start 13 month in the past
example (for ca. 12 month):
<!-- 2009-04-25 18:24:00 DFT / 1240676640 --> <row><v> NaN </v></row>

Hi,
first you must clearify how many datapoints you want to see in a
13 month range.
it make no sense to store all datapoints (ganglia generate every
15sec one datapoint).
maybe just every hour ?
60 (sek) * 60 (min) / 15 = 240
so RRD will aggregate 240 datapoints into one
now you can calculate your 13 mounth within a one hour range ...
365 (1 year) + 31 (1 month) * 24 = 9504 hours
RRAs "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:9504:240"
