I'd also like to know this, I am using unicast mode but I can't get more
than 1 node to show up, i'm using the latest version and tried everything.
 Can you even get it working?

I think you set 1 static host to be a receiver, with gmetad listening to
itself (1 line per cluster).  The other nodes just use "cluster_name"
and udp_send directives in gmond to point to the receiver.  I also use the
internal DNS addresses, 10.x.x.x no need to use the public IP's.
