Ah. I stand corrected; I wasn't quite sure I was remembering
correctly.

If I can remember under exactly what circumstances it happened (if it did
happen, which it probably didn't) I'll see about testing it again.

But then you would need to convince X number of implementations to
change... Probably qeasier said than done :)
