There are existing fairly complete lisp-_javascript_ compiler called 'klammerscript'. It is part of BKNR and is available at http://bknr.net. Also LoL uses a clone of it called 'parenscript'.

Also BKNR has a nice collection of third party libraries packaged under directory /trunk/thirdparty.
