Sure. If you only ever work on a Mac, and you are comfortable with doing a bit of installation and configuration yourself, and want to come up with your own key-bindings for Slime or use the defaults, then Aquamacs might well be an ideal solution. As for keeping the Slime packaged with Easymacs up to date, you can just go into the Slime directory within Easymacs and type "cvs update", and it will get the current HEAD. Of course, this assumes that you know how to install a cvs command-line program on your platform. I still think that for some new users, a cross-platform, pre-packaged configuration may be desirable.
