Hi all, personally i have never ran into any (at least serious) problem with asdf & asdf-install but nevertheless i believe that:
a) It's great to have multiple choices for people that can't or don't want to use asdf-install. b) It looks easy and that is a clear advantage for Common Lisp newcomers. c) If it is easy and if it works it can prove a valuable resource for expanding and/or consolidating the Common Lisp community. I am anxious to give quicklisp a try, i think that every tool that attempts to bring our small (but good) community an even higher degree of productivity is definitely worth a shot.
