That fixed the Custom/Scale problem.
Conversion still fails, so I ran with -dbg graphics and got the message:
sh /usr/bin/gs: No such file or directory
Quite true, it is in /usr/local/bin/gs
If I add a symlink, it hangs on Converting to loadable format...
This message appears even if set Don't display in preferences.
