plasma gasification has many routes. graphite electrodes plasma and plasma torch. plasma torch again have air plasma torch and steam plasma torch. we have commissioned air plasma torch based system in India in 2010 and it is running successfully. operating to despose 3000kg per hour industrial hazardous waste. plasma gasification is best process to avoid any pollution as it burn substance at more than 1400 deg centigrade to break any compound in primary elements and so avoid formation of furan etc gases.
it is very well viable and we can provide even skid mounted system also. I know many system failed due to wrong design but in japan such system is working since 2006 for MSW also and generating electricity.
