Ted,

I run a 3" restriction and 6 nozzles of 1/8 or 1/4 pipe. So far it has worked
well for me.

Subject: [Gasification] gasification Intake/exhaust size

Hi all
am building my first gasifier. I tested it three times so far, with
omething less than ideal results. I changed the intake size last time. I
ent from (4)- 5/8" size nozzles,adding (16)- 3/8" nozzles (radially)
otaling 3.2sq.in.I wonder now what the ratio between the intake size and
as exhaust size should be.. When I increased the nozzle size the temp.
eemed to be considerably lower. The gas exit size is 2.25" dia.pipe.I get
psi vacuum now in the 10" chamber.
realized now I changed the dynamics and think I have to correct it. Any
uggestions?
hank you for the help
