So ironic that this is making the rounds again.
Dear Ken, could you please write a few paragraphs about your experiences trying
to compress gas. Did you use a positive displacement pump to both suck on the
producer and compress the gas?

Look Gang, I don't doubt the energy balance. Why I bother to stick my head up,
is what Pete elaborated...I have excess solar that has to be dumped or excess
wind. I run my gas compressor on excess power that would other wise be wasted.
For now its the only method of recouping and using that excess. So don't flame
me for a seemingly ignorant mistake. I have free producer fuel, free power to
process, and free strorage. It can't hurt to proceed.
Thanks,
BPJ

Semi-Compressable/storable---?
I heard about a guy in Idaho, I think,  who was storing hydrogen in used  B52
inner tubes.  Imagine a flag pole with a dozen or so of these huge inner tubes
thrown over it like donuts.  All connected in parallel, I think.  This guy was
using excess wind electricity to make the hydrogen by electrolysis in, I guess,
a home made H-tube. Not Brown's Gas.  The hydrogen inflated the inner tubes,
but
I don't think there was any more pressure than that needed to make the inner
tubes come to shape.  When the hydrogen was needed, they piled bricks on top of
the stack to produce the needed pressure.  He said he only stored enough of the
oxygen for occassional use in welding.
An interesting guy.  People flamed him for not using modern enough methods and
for safety issues, so he purposely disappeared from the scene.
