Shane and Steve,
I can't believe I would have to write this, but please realize that we all
appreciate your efforts along with all the other volunteers who are sending in
articles to Gatornews.
I brag to all my Tennessee friends constantly that I get the news about the
Gators from every periodical in the state of Florida.
I, for one, do not mind getting duplicates. As for the two who complained, I
would suggest you volunteer, get a life and shut up about others who are
volunteering their time free of charge to do this.
If the news isn't coming to you quickly enough or without duplicates
UNSUBSCRIBE! That way you can have everything your way. One question, why are
you so stupid?

Thanks to you volunteers!! Please don't let the idiots stop you from your
efforts. Remember the old maxim: No good deed goes unpunished.
Oliver

Randy and Jerry,

As one of the other "volunteers" I am firmly with Shane on this. When I read
Rick's post the other day admonishing us to "get on the ball or resign" I
thought "what a whiney little <bad word>". If I had received an email from him
like the one he sent to Shane I likely would have embarassed myself by the
reply I'd have sent him.

You guys make the call - either say he's right (that we need to post any and
all news articles from our designated papers promptly or "resign", or tell him
to....."stifle".....

Thanks,
Steve McKibben

        I QUIT!

You find some one else who has more time than me, like rhillyard here,
to do this. Ungrateful.......

I have 3 small kids (all under 2) at home and I don't always have time
to sit down in front of the PC on weekends to post articles the minute they pop
up on the website. I can do that during the week A LOT easier than I can on
weekends. If I'm a day late or a little later in the day on the weekends, is
it really that big of a deal? Obviously to some people it is!

I had over 400 emails on Sunday to sift through and I had less than 30
minutes while they were napping to do it in. On top of all the text editing I
have to do to get these in the "proper" format, I didn't have time to see who
posted what from the Gainesville Sun for me. I thought I was helping, but if
I'm causing people like this to have a coronary then ask him to do it. He
obviously has the time and is looking for some thing to do to help out the
group.

        I QUIT!
