To the members of GatorTalk,
I want to apologize to each and every member of GatorTalk publicly for sending all of this through the list. Rick sent this to me privately and I should have either taken the high road and not replied to him at all or replied to him privately. I should have never taken his crap to the list in the first place. I'm extremely sorry for having done this to each and every member of the list, to the owners of the list, and specifically to Rick. I'm terribly sorry and I hope you all will accept my apology and forgive me.
Next, I don't have a good excuse other than I have a 7 week old baby at home and I've not had a lot of sleep in that period of time. To say the least, my patience, understanding, and tolerance of others is non-existant right now. I reacted in a way that I am deeply embarrased of and is totally unlike me.
I next want to offer a public apology to Rick as well, because I've said things in private emails to him that I'm very ashamed of and will have to live with all of this. I'm very sorry to you Rick for what I've said to you.
As a Gator fan, who loves the Gators more than most things in this life, I will not foresake my family or my Savior on weekends, so that I can posts all of the SUN's articles the minute they appear on their website to please people like Rick. I would rather spend my time with my family and in Church, where I obviously need to attend more. :-)
I was accused of posting articles that aren't even football related, like the Gainesville Bars one this morning. If I have offended any one by posting articles like that, then I am truly sorry. I was trying to post every thing that I could, with the thought that some one out there may care to read it. I've always thought that I may not care about this article, but Rick might. Again, I'm deeply sorry for posting things that are out of the scope of the list's intentions, and I hope you all will forgive me.
In closing, please accept my humble apology for bringing this public, for posting things I evidetnly shoudn't have, and for the things I have said in private to Rick. I wished I would have reacted to Rick differently this morning, but I can't have a do-over, unfortunately.
I'll leave my fate on teh list to the owners. I wouldn't blame them if they kick me off or punish me in some way. I've already granted Rick's request and asked them to find some one else to post the SUN's articles to the list. Hopefully, they will find some one else that will do a better job than I did.
