Rick, If this were a service you were paying for, I would be able to understand your frustration, but since this is a FREE service provided by people with full-time jobs and family responsibilities as a "labor of love" because of their love for the gators, then I'm at a loss as to your rude email to Shane.
I have explained to Shane that your email is an example of some of the heat that Jerry and I have taken for years from people who forget that this service is free and have unrealistic expectations of what they should receive for their FREE membership. I will tell you the same thing I have told others... It's obvious you are an unsatisfied "customer", and since the service is already free, I can't offer you a refund. Therefore, if you are THAT unhappy, maybe you should just unsubscribe. If you can't figure out how to unsubscribe, drop me an email and I'll do it for you. Thank you, Randy Lyons GatorNet Administrator -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Shane Ford" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I QUIT! You find some one else who has more time than me, like rhillyard here, to do this. Ungrateful....... I have 3 small kids (all under 2) at home and I don't always have time to sit down in front of the PC on weekends to post articles the minute they pop up on the website. I can do that during the week A LOT easier than I can on weekends. If I'm a day late or a little later in the day on the weekends, is it really that big of a deal? Obviously to some people it is! I had over 400 emails on Sunday to sift through and I had less than 30 minutes while they were napping to do it in. On top of all the text editing I have to do to get these in the "proper" format, I didn't have time to see who posted what from the Gainesville Sun for me. I thought I was helping, but if I'm causing people like this to have a coronary then ask him to do it. He obviously has the time and is looking for some thing to do to help out the group. I QUIT!
