Everyone else wants to specialize in either all sports or a particular sport, but if it's about the gators (or Gainesville, Burrito Brothers, Oaks Mall, the Purple Porpoise, University Blvd, or even the bookstore, we love it ALL! Yeah, I KNOW PP is gone... :-( Randy -------------- Original message -------------- From: John Vega <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> On Sep 2, 2008, at 12:24 PM, Shane Ford wrote: I was accused of posting articles that aren't even football related, like the Gainesville Bars one this morning. If I have offended any one by posting articles like that, then I am truly sorry. I was trying to post every thing that I could, with the thought that some one out there may care to read it. I've always thought that I may not care about this article, but Rick might. Again, I'm deeply sorry for posting things that are out of the scope of the list's intentions, and I hope you all will forgive me. Well, we're all cut from different cloth, even if that cloth is orange and blue. In my opinion, anything that relates to dining and night life in Gainesville is GatorNews. Very few people live in Gainesville all-year, and most travel for gameday weekends. We need to know information as to where to stay, where to dine and - as I'm no longer 20-something (or even 30-something) - some place to go in the evenings that is a little upscale was needed information. I read every word of the article, enjoyed it a great deal, and was happy that it was posted. -Zeb <BR --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
