I must respectfully disagree with one of his comments though, specifically his
opinion in regards to the 7 versus 3.

I would've gone for two after the touchdown.

Subject: [gatortalk] Wolverine's opinion of Shannon

A very good friend of mine who is a avid Michigan Wolverine fan and also the
AD and Basketball Coach at Taylor University-Ft Wayne, Indiana wrote this to me
after the FL - Miami game. I like his viewpoints.

Hey, Coach Shannon, heard you were a little upset with the field goal. My my.
Sorry your feelings were hurt. Here a some thoughts for your little puppy tail
between your legs. Sorry your feelings were hurt Coach Shannon but think about
it...

a.. Tiger Woods is up by 10 on Sunday at the Masters, does he bogie a few
to let 'em back in or does Tiger ungraciously and unsportsmanlike try to
birdie and eagle some more.running up the score. You can bet your butt he will
birdie every hole he can.ungrateful bum.
b.. Roger Federer is up on Murray at the US Open by two sets and 5-2 in the
third..the bum tried to ace him in the last game and did you see that
unsportsmanlike overhead slam Federer put away to win it. Had he been a real
man he would have hit it in the net and chucked a few more games to make it
closer. The bum won in three not giving Murray ONE GAME. What is that all about
????? Hey Shannon you can bet the farm Federer would have won 6-0,6-0,6-0 if he
could have and felt good about it.
c.. Hey Shannon did you see the World Series last year ? Those ungrateful,
less than men Red Sox won every game and they threw their ace the last one
!!!!! Ungrateful bums. What's wrong with them ? Why couldn't they have not
scored so much ?
d.. How about those USA idiots on the Olympic basketball team. They beat
teams by 30+ points. Unsportsmanlike and showed their character.
e.. Hey Shannon here is my suggestion.GET BETTER.RECRUIT BETTER.It is your
job to keep the score down not your opponent. You big baby, the name of the
game is win not let the opponent feel good. If I can kick your [EMAIL
PROTECTED] then don't play me find a patsy. Are you nuts ? The big bad Gators
kicked a field goal. That really ticked me off too. They should run that
pigskin right down your whining throat and gotten 7 instead of 3. What I wish
would have happened is they dressed their players like girls and queers and
made a mockery of you.
f.. Oh and lastly Shannon this is something you will never need to worry
about.it is called the BCS (a stupid attempt at finding the best) and guess
what Shannon, game scores count, scoring a lot can mean the difference in a BCS
Bowl, winning by 1 hurts, but this is something your sorry second class unit
wouldn't know.
g.. Actually Shannon..this is the last thing, didn't you put 52 on the
board against powerful Charleston Southern last week ? 52 wow I wonder how that
felt for the Charleston folks you *%$#@@*&^$#@ How come you ran it up ? You
could have scored 14 and just held on but you ran up 52 and your whiny over 3

I hope that sorry idiot loses them all but playing in the ACC isn't much of a
challenge.
