CBS hasn't been doing the BCS Championship - FOX has. And they don't do college
football during the regular season and it shows!

All of the networks have good and bad announcers - Herbie is pretty good, but
you just know that for a big event on an ABC network (which ESPN is) like the
BCSCG, Musberger will be in the booth - and he makes me sick!

Verne Lundquist suffers from Keith Jackson diesease, but as much as Danielson
can often run a point into the ground (the Stafford comparison to Marino and
Favre, the harping about Haden's left arm on Green before his pick, etc) it was
nice having him harp on about how the Gators deserved the spot in the 2006
title game.

And I can put up with all of that from him because of all the football
announcers I see on TV - college and pro - he does the best job of analyzing
what is going on on the field and pointing it out - and the way he calls plays
ahead of time is just uncanny!

You know, I think I am happy with this move. I
don't really have anything against CBS, but their announcers just don't seem to
be as knowledgeable about UF as the ESPN guys. Yeah, I know Herbstreet is a nut
case and Corso is just plain wacky, but I still kinda like them.

Sunshine's quality has always been subpar and don't
even get me started on Raycom. I think they hired their technicians from off
the
floor at Radio Shack.

Yeah, IMHO, ESPN is the way to go.
