Would you have voted for Oklahoma? For any reason?

And there you go... He obviously had a good reason for his vote. No argument

"The only reason I voted Oklahoma No. 1 was because they lost to Texas
and Florida lost to Ole Miss," Spurrier said. "Tell everybody it was only
because of who each team lost to.

"You know who we should have all voted for? Whoever is favored in the
game."

That would be Florida, which is an early three-point favorite.

When Oklahoma and Florida play for the BCS National Championship,
Spurrier will be watching his old school face off with one of his best friends.
Bobby Stoops was the defensive coordinator under Spurrier from 1996-98 and the
two have remained close.

So who will the ball coach be rooting for?

"The alma mater has a little more pull than a good friend," Spurrier
said. "It should be a heckuva game, one of the most exciting games ever. I'll
be rooting for South Carolina against Iowa in the Outback Bowl."
