Billy was very gracious about the call. He said that the referees were put in a bad spot trying to discern Hodges intent. On the replay it appeared as if Hodge was looking down when he stepped. In the end the officials thought that they should err on the side of caution.
Several courtside including GatorCountry's Franz and the ESPN sideline reporter reported that they thought it was accidental.
