Whittingham, who broke BCS ranks by voting for his 13-0 team as the national champion in the USA Today poll, accepted the offer, and CFT says it cleared the presentation of the trophy with the NCAA. Coaches are supposed to vote for the winner of the BCS title game as the No. 1-ranked team. Florida beat Oklahoma in the national championship this year.
