Well, I don't believe for a second that Coach Meyer and the team aren't going to try to win every game. And, it is obvious that going undefeated is a personal goal for many of the players and fans.
But, as far as organizational goals for the team, winning the SEC East Championship and getting to the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta has to be the first team goal. I,f that is accomplished, the next organizational team goal would be winning the SEC Championship; and, with that accomplished the organizational team goal would be to win the bowl game. But, to set nebulous, and perhaps irrelevant, goals like going undefeated or winning a MNC just diverts the team focus from what really counts and is controllable. A.
