Whew! What a relief that the game is over. On the touchdown, the announcers indicated Riley could have been called for grabbing the defender's jersey. What do you think? Was it something the officials just didn't see or was it a good no call? What do they teach the receivers as far as what they should do and what they should avoid in trying to get separation? I also was confused about the center's tilting his head to indicate the ball was about to be snapped. I got the impression from the announcers that it's OK to do that as long as the defender doesn't come across and hit the center. If he just comes cross or hits someone other than the center, it's defensive offsides, but if he hits the center it's offensive? Can anybody shed any light on that? Thanks.
