I couldn't believe how much uncalled holding went on in this game. My
husband and I both thought we saw some intentional jabbing going on in other
piles, too... by the dirty Dawgs. We replayed the downs when Brandon's helmet
got ripped off and there was some unsportsmanlike conduct being perpetrated by
the butt sniffers (hi, Oliver).

And don't forget that Tim got up after one tackle complaining about his eye.
Remember him squirting water in it on the sidelines? The announcers even said
it looked like he had gotten poked in the eye. In light of this video, it
looks like Brandon decided to retaliate. I think saying he's never seemed to
be a turn-the-other-cheek kind of player is the understatement of the season,
Darlene. LOL.

I don't have a problem with a player not helping another one up. I don't
condone what Brandon did either, but my husband said he noticed after Brandon's
helmet got knocked off the first time that he had been poked in the eye and
could even be heard saying "I'll get you back", so I think he was retaliating
for a prior attack on him. It's not a good idea, but then Brandon's never
impressed me as being a turn the other cheek kind of player.

I don't know if anyone heard the pre-game, but while on a quick Publix run
of game supplies I heard Mick and Lee talking about the game and Mick mentioned
that last year Urban used the Dawgs end zone dance for motivation and this year
the Dawgs were going to try to use the time outs...what did the team use for
motivation when Lee was a player. Lee sort of snort and said "We hated them! We
just hated them." What more needs to be said, Brandon just hates them!

    :D

I saw this during the game and yes it was dirty play. I don't like to
see it, but I do believe this was one of the dirtiest games we have been in.
From The beaten pup who refused to give Tebow a hand up off the ground, the
chippiness of the pups, the pulling on ankles, etc., etc.

The pups came into this game thinking they could smash us in the mouth
and we would back down, instead we gave them a taste of their own medicine.

While I don't find this defensible, I'm curious as to what point in the
game this was - very early in the game (the first two series, as a matter of
fact), I noticed there were multiple cheap shots directed solely at Spikes by
Georgia players.
