Anybody want to guess the over/under on how many times this will be
mentioned during the tv broadcast this week?

I've watched it 7,908 times as trained official and I haven't seen foul yet.

What gives?

The camera is very selective as to what it picks up. There's a ton of back
and forth dirty play, jawing and just downright low shots from both sides.
These teams hate each other and disrespect each other. There were a number
of times that the refs had to break up possible or brewing altercations.
Personal foul flags flew all night long. There's no way to "defend" nor
should we. I love the fact that someone catched a 3-4 second clip and make
that the focus of the personality of a player or the team. We weren't there
and in the mix. We have no idea how many things were done or said
throughout the game, heck even text messages and facebook/myspace shots. If
you want to understand the character of a man, walk a mile in his shoes. If
people want to call him a thug.have at it. Use it as a talking point and
justify your hatred for the Gators or Spikes. Good players are targets both
for honest play and dirty play alike. I feel confident that it wasn't the
first poke and won't be the last.on either side from any opponent. Welcome
to football and welcome to one of the most hated rivalries in football.

Love always.

While I don't find this defensible, I'm curious as to what point in the game
this was - very early in the game (the first two series, as a matter of
fact), I noticed there were multiple cheap shots directed solely at Spikes
by Georgia players..
