I would love to be there to hear the ooooo's and ahhhhh's when it gets fired up
the first time. I was amazed when I watched my first game last year that you
could actually see Tebow's CHIN WHISKERS! INDIVIDUALLY!
UNREAL!!!

Obviously, I'm still in awe of the quality. :)

The way these electronic wizards talk about their gear, I thought for sure I
was the only one here with no HDTV. I have not even watched an HDTV program yet
(just got the box hooked up this afternoon), but I'm sure it will be great. The
TVs have come way down in price--especially if you don't have to have a giant
one. Look for a lot of good deals for Christmas shopping.

I set the wrong channel (non-HD) for recording the game, and so when I
watched it yesterday, I was hit with the "how it used to be" stick. Gads! I
hope I NEVER record the wrong channel again! That was TERRIBLE! :(

Uh, Steve and Cee, you have my condolences.

I'm HDTV-less, too, and probably will be for a while... unless someone
gives me a new TV.

Helen - I hope the knee rehab goes well.

FYI - if it makes you feel any better, I'm still HDTV-less!

I'm glad you were able to help a budding Gator fan strengthen his
enjoyment/attraction to the team!

Today my business partner's fourth grade son will be sitting in
my seat for his first Gator game ever. He is very excited and I'm excited about
him being there. I decided to stay home because I had arthroscopic knee surgery
last Friday. I'm doing great, but not quite ready for the long hike between the
stadium and the Medical Plaza Parking Garage (there is no other place to park
on game day as far as my husband is concerned).
I do, however, get to watch the game on a new TV. I'm probably
the last person on this list to get an HDTV. I will not actually be watching in
HD tonight because I was not successful in hooking up the HD cable box, but
just the regular picture is a vast improvement over our old TV. (I'm going to
let Bright House come out next week and hook up the box.)
